Ski School in English
Registration for the 10-week courses is now open
GrIFK Alpine’s traditional ski school is a fantastic place to learn the basics of alpine skiing/snowboarding or improve your skills all the way to racing or freestyle skiing. Grani Ski School operates in Kauniainen and is easily accessible from all around Helsinki metropolitan area. We are open every day of the week from early January until the end of March. If the snow conditions allow, the ski school may start as early as December.
10-WEEK COURSES
Our main offering is 10-week courses for children. These courses provide fun and regular activities during the snowy winter season. We highly appreciate that the kids learn to play outdoors and enjoy Finnish winters. All 10-session courses start in January. These courses are part of GrIFK Alpine’s ski club activities, and all participants become automatically ski club members.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION
Registaration
Step 1: Register yourself as a user, if you don't have an account already. You will receive a confirmation link via email.
Step 2: Fill in your details, i.e., the guardian's information.
Step 3: Add the participant(s) (name*, place of residence*, and year of birth* are mandatory).
Step 4: Select the appropriate training group and complete the registration.
After a successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email.
The ski school also offers holiday season activities, as well as various intensive courses and private lessons for children and adults based on demand. Please check the upcoming courses below.
For the 2025-2026 season, we offer instruction in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
Ski school has an equipment rental service available, too.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons may be booked by sending an email to: [email protected].
When booking a private lesson, please specify your preferred date, time, lesson duration (50 min / 100 min), and the number of participants. Private lessons are paid at the slope caféteria and prices may be found from our Finnish website under "Hinnasto" (Price list).
INTENSIVE COURSES
The next 3-week intensive courses will start at the beginning of January 2026 - in the best case already in December. We inform about these special offers soon.
